|Circus Skills club for KS1|
Right Side Up Circus afterschool club for Spinney children in Foundation Class and Years
1 and 2 takes place on Tuesdays from 3:30pm until 4:30pm. Right Side Up workshops aim to improve your child's
motor skills with juggling games, teach your child new tricks with old favourites like hula hoops and give
them opportunities to express their creativity.

Code club runs on a Wednesday from 3:30 to 4:15, and gives pupils the chance to learn programming skills using a range of software and hardware. The Spinney is privileged to have this run by employees from ARM, one of the world's leading computer chip design companies. Please contact Mr Ingram or the school office for more information.
Mrs. Lane's Craft Club takes place every Thursday afternoon after school, from 3:15 - 4:15pm. The club involves a wide range of crafts including knitting, crochet, embroidery and decoupage. Craft club is open to children in Key Stage 2. There are spaces for up to 10 children and these are offered on a first come first served basis. If your child would like to attend speak to Mrs. Lane
This club runs in the summer term only. It takes place every Wednesday from 3:15 to 4:15 on the meadow and is intended for Key Stage 2 children. If you are interested in joining, and look forward to a lot of fun playing cricket, please see Mr. Mawson.
Drama club is a fun club with drama games which runs every Monday from 3.30-4.15pm in the hall. It is open to years 4, 5 and 6. The club is free but anyone interested should sign up with Miss Garrill as there is a maximum or 20 spaces. Every year we put on a production for the parents. Miss Garrill would appreciate being informed if you are not able to come.
Mrs Rigby organises the KS1 choir that sings together on Tuesday mornings from 8.30am to 8.55am, If you would like any more information please contact Mrs Rigby.
Mrs. Lane's KS2 Choir will take place on Tuesdays after school from 3:15-4:20pm. The first
session will begin on Tuesday 20th September. Choir members will receive vocal training and learn skills that
complement all instrumental learning. This will take place through fun activities, part singing and through
the enjoyment of working within a group towards performances.
If your child would like to join the choir, please collect a letter from the office and return the permission form to the school office.
|Le Club Français|
Le Club Français operate a French club in school on Mondays (Years 1 and 2) and Tuesdays (Years 3 to 6) from 15:25 to 16:10. The club gives children an informal introduction to language learning through songs, games, stories and activities. |Mr Mawson's KS2 Football|
KS2 football club is on Mondays from 3.15-4.15pm. It is open to both boys and girls and is free of charge. Please speak to Mr. Mawson if you are interested. The club does not take place during the summer term.
Mrs Livermore and Mrs Kurdynowska organise the Multi skills club for
for KS1 on Wednesdays from 3.30pm-4.20pm.
Application forms are sent out to Years 1 and 2 in September and the Foundation class can start from the
Spring term if there are vacancies.
The cost is £10 per half term and the children should bring a healthy snack (fruit, cheese, vegetables) and some water with them. There is often a waiting list so please talk to the school office to sign up.
|Premier Sport Football club|
Premier Sport run football clubs: on Thursdays for Key Stage 1 (Foundation to Year 2) children, and on Wednesdays for KS2 (Year 3-6) children. Both clubs run from 3.15pm to 4.30pm. |Rise and Shine Breakfast Club|
Our breakfast club runs daily from 8am to 8:55am. A healthy breakfast is provided for £3.50
per child per session, and £3 for siblings.
There are many fun activities for the children, including playdough, colouring, board games, card games and Lego. If you need to know more please come and see Mrs Cordy or contact the school office.
